Today, we take you through Sushant’s journey in the industry…

MUMBAI: 2020 has brought nothing but grief. Half of the year has almost passed by and there is a virus which has caused deaths globally, earthquakes, cyclones and there is also news of an asteroid coming towards earth.

Along with that, the entertainment industry mourned the loss of some of the best in this business and the finest of actors. If Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor’s death wasn’t enough, recently, there were headlines of how a celebrity manager committed suicide by jumping off her building. And now, the actor she used to handle also committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling thereby shocking the entire fraternity. We are talking about Sushant Singh Rajput.

There were reports of the Late Sushant Singh Rajput suffering from depression.

Well, he was a fine actor and played versatile roles in all his films. Starting his career on television with Pavitra Rishta, Sushant went on to enchant the audience on the 70mm with his portrayal in films like Kai Po Che, Kedarnath and Chhichhore among many other films.

Now, there are claims that the actor was pushed into suicide by some biggies. However, these are just speculations. A lot is being said and the investigation is on.

Today, we take you through Sushant’s journey in the industry…

Sushant, endowed with good looks and fine understanding of the entertainment medium, started his career with Kis Desh Mein Rehta Hai Dil. He later bagged Pavitra Rishta and there was no looking back! People loved his chemistry with co-star Ankita Lokhande and this also opened the gates for him into films!

SSR, as he is fondly called, made his debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che! along with Rajkumar Rao and Amit Sadh and the same year he also featured in Maneesh Sharma’s Shuddh Desi Romance. These two films proved that he had the ability to operate on a larger spectrum. There was no stopping for him then as he featured in PK. Later he played titular roles in films like Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, MS Dhoni – The Untold Story, Raabta, Kedarnath and Chhichhore.

At the age of 34, he had achieved a lot already! Sushant is truly missed and we too feel he has gone too soon…
