MUMBAI: After 3 months long lockdown implemented by the government with the outbreak of COVID-19, the month of June saw the country unlocking certain sections, thus getting them functional. One of these sectors is the TV and Film industry, which is also gearing up to resume their shoot gradually, with the guidelines released by the government. Popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which has been entertaining the audience for years now will soon see their most loved actors back on the sets soon

Actor Dilip Joshi, who plays the pivotal role of Jethalal Gada in the show, is too excited to get back to work. He expressed not only missing his fans who he has been entertaining for years now but also his co-stars, his onscreen family shown residing in the Gokuldham society. He said, “Not only have I missed being away from the fans but also I have missed my Gokuldham family tremendously.” Though all the actors are hesitant about resuming to work, they have full confidence on their production team mentions the actor. 

Dilip Joshi says, “There is a little apprehension in all our minds but we have confidence in our production team’s efforts in ensuring our safety at work. We are eagerly waiting for the green signal and very soon we will be back to entertaining our viewers who have been so excitedly waiting for us. Without a doubt, we are excited to go back to work!”

Mentioning about the lockdown being a boon, he said, “Over the last three months I had the opportunity to take a walk down the memory lane by watching the re-runs of the show and it made me so nostalgic.”
