Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case: Mumbai Police interrogates talent management agency head Reshma Shetty for 5 hours

After recording the statements of Sanjana Sanghi and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the police officials have recorded the statement of Reshma Shetty, who heads Bollywood’s Talent Management Agency, Matrix

MUMBAI: Mumbai Police have swiftly acted upon Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life, on June 14, by hanging himself at his Bandra residence, Bandra Police have recorded the statement of over 35 people in connection with SSR’s death case. Right from the late actor’s family to his close friends, manager, house helps, and film fraternity people, we often spot one or the other at the Bandra police station to record their statement.

After Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it’s Bollywood’s top talent manager Reshma Shetty who has recorded her statement in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. As per a report in India Today, Reshma Shetty was questioned for 4-5 hours by the cops. The deets of her statement are yet to be known. Reshma is the head honcho of Bollywood’s top talent management company Matrix. After parting ways with Salman Khan in 2018, Reshma is now handling Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt and many other leading B-Town actors.

Reports of filmmaker Shekhar Kapur submitting his statement via email have made headlines. Shekhar Kapur had worked with SSR Paani which never saw the light of the day. Speaking about the same a senior IPS officer told mid-day, "We have summoned Kapur to come and record his statement based on the tweet he shared a day after the actor’s suicide. He had sent some details via email which we are considering but we need more clarity on it. His detailed statement will be recorded soon once he comes back to the city." Meanwhile, Police are looking for every possible angle that has triggered him to take the drastic step.
