MUMBAI: Star Plus's pupular show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2's Anurag Basu aka Parth Samthaan has been tested positive for Coronavirus yesterday, after which the ongoing shoot was immediately brought to a halt and currently people who were supposedly in contact with Parth Samthaan recently on the sets are being tested. For the time being, the actors who are present on the set are Pooja Banerjee (Nivedita Basu) and Shubhavi Choksey (Mohini Basu).
Spotboye reportedly contacted Karan Patel who recently made an entry on the show as Rishabh Bajaj and shot for the first time as Mr. Bajaj only a few days ago. When asked if he too has to undergo COVID-19 test, Karan told , "I am safe and currently at home. It's been three days since I haven't shot also. So I am safe. Since I have just entered the show I have not shot with Parth for a single scene so I don't feel I have to go for any test".
Meanwhile, Parth took to his instagram account and gave an update on his health and wrote in the post, "Hi everyone , I have been tested Postive for covid 19 .although I have mild symptoms.. I would urge and request everyone whose been with me in close promitixy over the last few days please go and get yourself tested . The Bmc has regularly been in touch and with the doctors guidance I am in self quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support . Please be safe and take care."
