Kareena Kapoor is currently in the news for having been disassociated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela, the reason being Bhansali doesn’t want a married woman to play Juliet in his film. For the uninitiated, Kareena is due to get married in October with her long time beau Saif Ali Khan and Bhansali’s film would roll sometime next year (2013). Kareena might be out of Ram Leela, but this sexy bombshell has been signed up by Prakash Jha to play a politician in his next yet untitled film said to be a sequel of Raajneeti. The film will have Kareena playing Prime Minister of India. A person close to the actress said that she is all set to do some major research for which she has already asked her team to shortlist the names of major female Prime Ministers from all across the world. She will then go deep into their lives and observe their lives and their mannerisms minutely. “But one thing is sure that Kareena does not want her glamorous image to overshadow her performance in the film,” the person added. The role in the upcoming film would be the actresses’ first major performance-oriented role where she would also be de-glamorized. The film is expected to go on the floors by the end of the year (2012) with Suniel Shetty in the lead.
