MUMBAI: A crime thriller at its core, Hotstar Specials Hostages revolves around the life of a renowned surgeon who is ordered to assassinate the chief minister, in exchange for the survival of her family, forcing her to make a decision. Starring Ronit Roy Bose and Tisca Chopra, Season 1 was well received by audiences across the country. Just days ahead of its Season 2 launch, take a look back at the most important moments from Season 1 with a recap video along with Ronit Roy and showrunner and Director Sudhir Mishra talking about the season and giving us a sneak peek of what lies ahead in season 2.

As they are conversing about the second season, Ronit Roy just some minutes back shared a clip of Hostages, giving a glimpse of the season one. The video takes back in time when Surgeon Dr Mira Anand played by Tisca Chopra pulls out all the stop in order to save her own family and goes against her principle and to assassinate the Chief Minister Handa. The recap video also revealed how Mira finds out about Prithvi’s truth and how Handa is in under Prithivi Singh’s possession. After the video was shared on his page, fans of the show who are waiting for the show with bated breath poured in messages and asking for him about the release date of season 2.
