You have modelled for some of the best names in industry, anchored shows and hosted events. What next? I am doing an item number for a movie. I can’t talk anything more about it as it is too early to disclose further details on it. I am a person who never plans in life. So let’s see what is in store for me. I take up things as they come my way. What do you do when you are not working? When I am not working I keep lying on my bed. I also like watching movies, listening to music and talking to friends on the phone or hanging out with them while I am not working. Basically I just keep lazing around. Who are your closest friends from the industry? Nethra Raghuraman and Dipanita Sharma are my closest friends. There are many more close friends of mine from the industry. I am lucky to have a great family and lovely friends. You have graduated from Mithibai college of Mumbai. Were you a hot property of college? No I wasn’t. I just used to go college and come back home but I used to participate in fashion shows. Vivek Oberoi was also in my college at that time and he used to host those fashion shows. I used to hardly attend classes and I used to hang around in one lukha corner of my college. Are you planning to do any new show on TV? As of now I am happy doing one show. If something interesting comes my way, then I would take it up. Have you always wanted to be a part of glamour world? Earlier I didn’t think that way but after my college when I participated in the ‘Femina look of the year’ contest in 1995, I came across models like Madhu Sapre and Meher Jessia. It is then when I started knowing that I want to become one of them. According to you, who is the hottest man in India? It has to be Rahul Gandhi. He is cute, he has a great personality and he is good looking. He is a kind of man who stands out from the rest of the crowd. He is simply enigmatic. Who was the worst and best dressed person at the Zee Cine Awards? Well, I don’t wish to name the worst dresser but Farah Khan (wife of DJ Aqeel) was the best dressed woman for the night. Among men, I would say that Fardeen Khan was best dressed like he always does. What was the most interesting part of Zee Cine Awards? The back stage action was the most interesting part of Zee Cine Awards. There was a lot of fun happening during rehearsals. Shahrukh Khan is such a hard working and witty person. You get to learn a lot looking at his focus and dedication. Saif Ali Khan is good to chill out with. There was a party which was great. We had a lot of fun. The best part of this award function was that we were provided with the best hotel, the best food, we used to travel in a BMW and the weather was amazing.
