When a person loses his/her personal possession when he/she is out of town, the only thing that can happen to the affected is that he/she loses his cool. Okay…too many he/shes…we will cut short. We are talking in reference to Dimple Jhangiani, who recently returned from Delhi after finishing shooting for Star Plus’ telefilm series Teri Meri Love Stories produced by Director’s Kut Production. She was robbed of Rs 7000, first during her stay in the capital and the second time at Pataudi Palace, Pataudi- where a large part of the above film was shot. Says an angry Dimple, “The money was stolen from my rooms at both the places, first it was Rs 2500 while the second time it was Rs 4500. I am sure that this was the handiwork of someone from the cast as they alone had access to my room.” You suspect anyone in particular? “No,” she answered. So, what is your feeling about this unfortunate incident? “These things really hurt. It is not about money, but about someone you work with, breaking your trust. I have spoken to the production house about it and they have promised to look into the matter.” Of late, Dimple seems to be plagued by bad luck. Recently, her character Nimrit was also eased out from Life OK’s Amrit Manthan (produced by the same makers) as part of a plan to bring in more drama with a fresh face. We got in touch with producer Rajan Shahi and he said, “She did inform me of the money being misplaced or stolen. In such a big shooting schedule, such incidents do happen. But since the money involved was not that much, I guess it is not a very big issue. We have spoken to her about the same.” Well…we hope that this chori ka kissa will soon get sorted!!!
