MUMBAI: Being an actor comes with its own risks, pros and cons.
While it is not uncommon to read headlines about people being bullied or robbed, there are actors too who face such kind of brutality. It was only recently that Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya visited Florence city where they got robbed. Divyanka and Vivek lost their passports, cash and cards when thieves smashed the window of their vehicle while they were at a resort close to the Italian tourist town.
Reportedly, The resort is about half an hour away from Florence.
According to the actor, either Vivek and she were followed and they mentioned that it is not uncommon for incidents like these to happen. There have been several other incidents faced by many other actors in the past too.
Now, Mahir Pandhi, who is known for portraying the role of Digvijay aka DJ in the popular family drama Vanshaj, and is also known for his stint in Choti Sarrdaarni and Bebaakee faced something similar.
He took to his social media handle to post a message with a picture of his broken window and mirror sharing:
‘(Almost managed to) and broke my side mirrors. No. This wasn’t road rage as nothing of that sort happened. This was a genuine attempt to vandalise and more or attempted robbery.’
