MUMBAI: Shaheer Sheikh is one of the most loved actors of television.
Shaheer was recently a part of Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke on Star Plus and as the show is lifted off-air, there are petitions being signed as they cannot believe that they won’t be able to watch the show and their favourite characters of Abeer and Mishti, played by Shaheer and Rhea Sharma anymore. The petitions shout to boycott Star Plus.
Well, in a throwback media interview with a portal, Shaheer had once mentioned that he had said that he would never be a part of a saas Bahu show. He mentioned that people told him that he was not cut out for it but when he bagged Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, Shaheer said that one should try everything in life and experience all genres so here he is trying out the genre.
Surely, Shaheer performed brilliantly the protests by the fans are proof that he definitely fits into the saas bahu genre as well as in any other genre!
