Shubhangi Atrey Poorey who was seen as the ideal bahu in Kasturi and Do Hanson Ka Jodaa is bored of playing idealistic characters. She is now looking for a mature role wherein the girl will be independent and earthy. In a brief chat with Tellychakkar.com, Shubhangi speaks her heart out about the kind of role she is waiting for. “I am now looking for a mature love story. With Hawan, I wanted to experiment doing a negative character. I guess I succeeded to an extent as I got a good response. Now, I want a role that is more earthy and relatable.” Ask her what kept her busy all these days, and she says, “My family and my daughter. My daughter Ashi is in the second standard.
