Lights, camera action!! Aah… the feeling of standing before the camera and enacting your role is something an actor would cherish forever!! And what if a creative who has worked as part of various successful television shows aspires to don the actor’s shoes?
Well, this is what has happened to Nidhi Singh, who has been part of the creative team for shows like Saath Phere, Chhoti Bahu, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Shraddha, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo and Afsar Bitiya. The girl is now turning actor with an episodic in Zee TV’s Fear Files - Dar Ki Sachi Tasveerein.

Incidentally, Nidhi’s first assignment as creative was with Contiloe Entertainment’s show Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano and now it is the same production house giving her an opportunity with Fear Files to prove her mettle as an actor. Nidhi presently works in the creative team of Janet Casting Agency.
She will be seen in tonight’s (18 August 2012) episode of Fear Files which is the story of Chalawa. She essays the role of Anjali, the narrator in the episode who through her Video Diary talks about her story where she was affected by one such Chalawa.
The episode deals with the spirits who after going through a premature death start to trouble passersby who pass in their vicinity.
When contacted, Nidhi Singh shared with Tellychakkar.com, “I always aspired to become an actor, but destiny took its course and I entered the industry as creative. I had this phobia of facing the camera and wanted to overcome it by taking up some project. I am thankful to the team of Fear Files for giving me an opportunity to face the camera and help me get over the phobia.”
Here’s wishing Nidhi Singh all the very best!!
