Rohit Choudhary talks about his 'Aamdar Nivas' co-star and friend Sayaji Shinde

MUMBAI: Actor, producer, and fitness and lifestyle coach Rohit Choudhary will soon be seen in the Marathi film "Aamdar Nivas", but while making the film little did he know he will make a friend for life too. On the sets, he became good friends with versatile actor Sayaji Shinde and speaks highly of him.

In the movie, while Sayaji will be seen as a politician, Rohit will essay the role of a real estate tycoon.

Sharing the details of their first meet, he said, "We first met during the shoot of the song 'Shantabai', which features Sunny Leone, in 'Aamdar Nivas'. During the shoot, we started talking and connected well on various things. We have been friends ever since. Even before meeting him, I thought of him as a fabulous actor. I feel he is someone of the level of Naseeruddin Shah."

"He is a very down to earth guy and a very good human being. He is very humble. And what I liked about him the most is he told me that even if you have a very small character to play in a movie, you should live it as though you are the main lead. He says that you should prove yourself as an actor in that little screen time you get," he added.

Sayaji is also involved in a lot of social work, but his main focus is tree plantation. Talking about it, Rohit said, "Sayaji is actively participating in tree plantation and that too with his own money. He is spending it out of his pocket and is planting trees in various cities and villages. He says it's a one-time thing but these trees will be helpful to the next generations too."

The duo recently met in Delhi, when the "Shool" actor had come to the capital to dub a Marathi rap song. Rohit got to know that his friend has also been appointed as the Advisory Committee Board member of T-Series, and he threw a small party for him.

"When he came to Delhi, he was staying in a hotel. But I got to know that he has become a member of the T-Series Advisory Committee Board, so I organised a little surprise for him and congratulated him. Sanjay Vidyarthi was also with us, and we had a great time together," he said.
