MUMBAI: After a wait of more than 2 years, season 2 of much loved show Mirzapur was out on 23rd October. There was a lot of hype around the show because of the impact created by season 1 back in 2018. In fact, several fans binge-watched the season over the night and expressed their views on social media on day 1 itself.
The season got mixed reviews from the audience. Many said it was not up to the mark, whereas a few loved the series. A majority of them said that the new season lacked the flavour of season 1 and was not satisfactory.

Apart from all these things, many fans also said that they all missed a few characters from season 1: Sweety, the wife of Guddu Pandit; talented actor Vikrant Massey, who was Bablu Pandit in the first season; and Compounder, the right hand of Munna Bhaiya, played by Abhishek Banerjee.
Well, there is no doubt that it was a treat to watch them all in season 1 and their presence is highly missed in this new season. Having said that, the new season is good in its own way as it shows how the story moved ahead after the loss of lives. The leads are seen seeking revenge from each other.
Mirzapur season 2 stars Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Verma, Isha Talwar, Amit Sial, Anangsha Biswas, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chaddha, Harshita Gaur, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.
