”I’ve never done a small town girl, speaking Haryanvi” shares Nushrratt on the difficulty she faced while shooting for her next

MUMBAI: Nushrratt Bharuccha has always been delightful in the varied roles she has portrayed. The actress who is gearing up for Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming movie Chhalaang, will leave us impressed with the role of a teacher. Set amidst a small town of Haryana, Nushrratt is carrying the simple North Indian look with confidence.

However, Nushrratt put in a lot of diligence to be able to get the details of her character ‘Neelu’ right. In a recent interview when asked about the difficulty she face while playing Neelu, she said, “I’ve not done a film like this, I’ve never done a small town girl, speaking Haryanvi, never. I’m born and brought up in Bombay so it was a stressful point for me.”

Not only did she prepare for Haryanvi dialect, she was always seen lip synching for a Punjabi song from the movie that was recently released. She has carried out both of the dialects effortlessly and naturally when actually it was quite a struggle for the Bombay girl.

The film that has many firsts for the hardworking actor, also sees a fresh pairing of Nushrratt opposite Rajkummar Rao. Their refreshing chemistry has pumped the audiences and their cute nok - jhok seen in the songs are widely appreciated.

With her portrayal of this simple north indian character, Nushrratt is set to break all the norms. We are in awe of her with the glimpses we have got and we cannot wait to have her surprise us further.

After her Diwali release Chhalaang, the talented star will also be seen in Hurdang, opposite Sunny Kaushal and Vijay Verma.
