It was earlier seen that Manav requests Meher to return his Karan to him. However, Meher refuses to give her Karan away and unfolds the entire truth to Sarabjit.
Sarabjit supports Meher and trusts her. However, Kulwant does not want Meher to suffer and thus kidnaps Karan.
Further, when Meher meets Kulwant she denies kidnapping Karan.
