Indian television industry has grown in leaps and bounds in the last decade or so. Its impact has touched greater heights influencing hearts and minds of millions all across the globe.
Furthermore, in recent times, there has been a rise in the trend of film integration with TV shows across channels. Treading on identical lines, Karan Johar and the cast of his upcoming movie Student of the Year (SOTY) will make an appearance in Sony Entertainment Television’s KBC 6 (Big Synergy) as part of the promotional campaign.
Host Amitabh Bachchan went on to tweet about it last night, “Must to bed early today ... tomorrow another tough day at KBC ... film integrations always take more time .. Karan Johar and SOTY !”
We also checked with Anita Kaul Basu, Director, Big Synergy, and she stated, “Yes, the integration will happen and most probably the episode will air next week. Things are yet to get finalized.”
