Anooj Kapoor says, "It is a competition between supernaturals with respect to Baal Veer and Life OK's Mahadev at the 8 PM slot"

Anooj Kapoor, EVP and Business Head of SAB TV is kicked about the new fantasy based show Baal Veer that launches on 8 October 2012. With this, the recently launched show Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai which presently holds the 8 PM slot will be moved to the 7.30 PM slot. On the show and its casting, Anooj Kapoor says, “The show and the star cast are simply amazing. Baal Veer is quite promising and I shall not deny that the 8 PM slot is a very challenging one as there are many shows that act as competition. Every Wednesday is crucial for me and I am happy the way SAB TV’s shows have fared. I do not regret shifting Golmaal.. to the 7.30 PM slot to bring in the new show at 8 PM. For me, every show is important. SAB TV is the only channel which has sustained throughout; look at our graph and you will see that it is growing day by day. I agree that shows go off air but never exhaust our creativity and are open to new challenges.” He goes on, “Baal Veer is a creative show and the fantasy genre caters to every segment of the audience. The show on Life OK, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev slotted at 8 PM, is a high TRPs generating show. I would just say it is supernatural V/s supernatural genre and I am keeping my fingers crossed.” Lastly, on the future plans he states, “Furthermore, my plan as the Head of SAB TV is that I would like to see the channel in top 3 within a span of five years.” We really wish Baal Veer lives up to the channel’s expectations.
