Set to make a record of sorts, yesteryear actress Vyjayantimala is set to return to the big screen after 42 years.
She has been signed by director Sandeep Malani for an issue-based film titled <em>Janleva 555</em> to be produced by Kalpna Pandit. The producer, who has earlier worked in a few films and done some raunchy numbers describes <em>Jaanleva 555</em> as her dream project. It’s a musical thriller with 15 songs. According to her, the film would be a perfect blend of music and horror.

Talking of her return and the film, Vyjayantimala says, “First of all, it is a great thought and will help people in the villages, especially children, who die of snake bites. I wish the makers all the success and I request everybody to please watch the film because it will be one of its kinds.”
Talking about her appearance in the film, the actress who was seen with Shammi Kapoor in F C Mehra’s film Prince says that she will be seen in a two to three-minute video to be played before the film that will talk about how to save children bitten by cobras in villages.
Last seen in the 1970 film Ganwaar along with the late Rajendra Kumar, the 76-year-old is known for her roles in films like Naya Daur, Madhumati, Sangam and Saathi among others.
