MUMBAI: The year 2020 was the Digital year, having said that we have seen several Bollywood names who debuted on OTT platform and were loved by the fans. In the past, actors like Saif Ali Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Pankaj Tripathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte amongst others took the opportunities and entered the webspace with a bang.
In 2020 as well, many Bollywood celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Jacqueline Fernandez, Karisma Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani amongst others made their digital debuts. And this year as well, many actors are gearing up for their OTT debut.

Actors who are all set to make their OTT debut in 2021
Dimple Kapadia
At the age of 63, veteran actress Dimple Kapadia is giving other actresses a run for their money. The actress won everyone's hearts with her stellar performance in the Hollywood film, Tenet. And now, she is all set to impress the audience with her digital debut. The veteran actress is making her OTT debut with director Ali Abbas Zafar's Tandav. The web series, which is set to premiere on January 15, also features Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Grover, Gauahar Khan, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Kritika Kamra, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and others.
Sunil Grover
Comedian turned Bollywood actor Sunil Grover impressed everyone with his acting chops in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat. In the film, he played the role of Salman Khan's best friend. And with Tandav, he marks his digital debut. The actor will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar, which will definitely leave his fans surprised.
Kapil Sharma
Comedian Kapil Sharma, who made his Bollywood debut with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon in 2015, is also ready to wow his fans by entering the webspace. Kapil recently announced that he will be making his digital debut on Netflix. His digital debut project is reportedly titled Dadi Ki Shaadi.
Samantha Akkineni
Popular South actress Samantha Akkineni will be making her OTT debut with The Family Man 2. She will be seen playing a negative role in the series. She will be seen alongside Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, Sharad Kelkar, Shreya Dhanwantary. The series is all set to release on February 12, 2021.
Rumoured OTT debuts of Bollywood actors:
Hrithik Roshan will be reportedly making his OTT debut with the Hindi remake of the British series - The Night Manager. The actor will apparently start shooting for the same in March 2021.
Shahid Kapoor may also make his digital debut this year with a big web series, by Stree and The Family Man makers Raj & DK.
Akshay Kumar is also likely to make his OTT debut this year with The End.
