While homosexuality and bisexuality are now understood by most people in India, most people aren’t aware of asexuals. That is exactly what Sriti Jha touched upon in her poem ‘Confessions of an asexual romantic’ that she performed at Spoken Fest Mumbai 2020. The video has once again gone viral on social media now, and in the poetry, Sriti shared experiences, while urging people not to try to change or ‘fix’ them, and spoke about 'learning to lie in word and in moans'.

Sriti made her debut in 2007 in Disney India’s Dhoom Machao Dhoom, in which she played the role of Malini Sharma.
