MUMBAI: Star Plus which launched its new show Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani sometime ago will witness a new entry.
According to our sources, actor Ishwar Tiwari, who is known for his stint in Star Plus’ Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai, has been roped in for the show.
We hear that Ishwar will depict the role of a peon in the show.
Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahaani is set in Punjab and it focuses on its narrative of an ordinary girl who faces various challenges in the dominant patriarchal and chauvinistic society.
The series is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Mohor. Produced under DJ's a Creative Unit, it stars Debattama Saha and Karanvir Sharma. The show also features Sooraj Thapar, Pankaj Kalra, Pyumori Ghosh, Khalid Siddiqui, Deepa Parab, Harsh Vashisht and Reema Worah in pivotal roles.
