MUMBAI: Star Bharat is set to roll out a new show titled Amma Ke Babu Ki Baby which is produced by Shoonya Square.
TellyChakkar was the first one to break the news about Ishqbaaaz and Divya Drishti fame Karan Khanna being paired opposite Yeh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka fame Gauri Agarwal in the lead roles.
The show revolves around three unique and distinct characters that will entertain the audience with their personalities. The makers have left no stone unturned keeping in mind the storyline and have roped in veteran actor Vibha Chibber as Amma, handsome hunk Karan Khanna as Babu, and the gorgeous Gouri Agarwal as Baby. Set in the heartland of UP, the show will take us on the dramatic journey of Amma, Babu, and Baby.
The latest we hear is that actress Sapna Rathore, who has been part of Star Plus’ Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and has featured in various music videos, has been roped in for the show.
According to our sources, Sapna will play female protagonist Gauri’s sister named Tithi. She is the negative lead of the show.
Sapna confirmed the news and shared, “This is a big break of my career and I am looking forward to the show’s launch.”
Amma Ke Babu Ki Baby to air from 8 February at 9.30pm.
