MUMBAI: The Hindi TV industry has come a very long way by portraying different types of shows and serials from different-different genres through their various broadcasting networks.

By now, owing to the expanse of creativity and upsurge of new ideas as well as thoughts of school, almost all sorts of genres and subgenres like romance, horror, thriller, suspense, comedy, tragedy, rom-com, reality shows, kids shows, animations, ballads, etc.

Most serials' plot revolves around the life of it's female protagonist and later on, shifts to that of the lead-couple's. Very few shows depicted their plot other way round and extremely rare shows have portrayed other characters as the show's lead like kids, aged family-members or other characters.

There are also some kid-centric shows, wherein kid(s) played the show's protagonist and it's plot revolved primarily around their life and the daily hustles of their family's elders. These shows are totally entertainment-oriented by showcasing comical plots for not only the kids, but also individuals from different age groups and families at large.
