MUMBAI: Released in the year 2002 starring Shahrukh Khan Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Devdas is considered one of the most loved Bollywood movies of all time, the movie which had great songs, amazing storytelling, great performances made a special place in the heart and mind of the flash all over and till today when we see the moon baby love to see it all over again.
How can we forget the character played by Madhuri Dixit Chandramukhi was loved by fans all over, but here is the twist, all the Devdas fans did you know not Madhuri Dixit but Sushmita Sen was the first choice of playing Chandramukhi in the movie. Yes you heard right, director Sant Leela Bhansali initially cast Sushmita Sen Chandramukhi but she was replaced in 15 days.
Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in an interview revealed that he wanted to make this movie with miss world and Miss Universe, but later due to some reason, Sushmita Sen was replaced.
