MUMBAI: Milloni Kapadia feels lucky to have got the opportunity to portray Gunjan Rawal’s character in Sonali Jafar and Amir Jafar’s production Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha. The actor says that that show has given her a lot of love, appreciation and also added to her popularity.
“I’ll always be grateful for what the show has done to my career. I am learning something new each day and have grown as an actor and as a person too. I feel blessed to be a part of such a beautiful show and play a character like Gunjan,” she adds.
Gunjan comes across as a bit cunning and greedy, and the audience find her expressions convincing. “I’m glad that the audience found me convincing as Gunjan. Yes she loves money and attention. It makes her real,” says the actor.
Many also find her name interesting and want to know about the meaning of her name. “Milloni means Achiever. On the set all my co-actors call me by my real name and the rest of the crew tend to call me Gunn (short form of Gunjan),” she shares.
On who she is closest to in the show, Milloni replies, “This is a tough one. I'm really blessed to be a part of such a wonderful team. All my co-actors are wonderful People. All of them have such positive and pleasant vibes. I really connect well with everyone. It’s like a happy family. But yes I do have a soft corner for Revti Lele, who is playing my mother on the show.”
The actor also shares a special bond with Richa Rathod, who plays the leading role of Nandini in the show. “Richa and I share a friend cum sister like relationship, which is both positive and warm. She is a beautiful girl inside out and always has a smile on her face no matter what. I really like her as a person and an actor,” she ends.
