Tulsi and Parvati will be AB's guests on KBC Dwitiya this Diwali. They will vie for the coveted, but elusive two crore as they battle it out on the hot seat! This is the first time that telly celebs have graced KBC2, but in the earlier version, Smriti Iraani and Amar Upadhyay were amongst the celebs who were invited. The most interesting part of these episodes is the fact that these actors are going to come as the characters they play on screen and not as themselves! A little bird tells us that while big stars were considered (Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan), dates could not available, so the ever loyal bahus came to the channel's rescue! Meanwhile, a host of other celebs will grace the small screen on KBC2, including Priyanka Chopra and Riteish Deshmukh and Sania Mirza and Lara Dutta! Angad goes the Jassi way! Angad of Sony's Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai has a problem on his hands. He is in jail and his girlfriend thinks he has slept with another girl! Sounds like a scene straight out of the channel's other show, Jassi? Well, tracks are difficult to create and since it's festival time, the creative heads surely need a break...so just use the time tested formula for breakups -- infidelity! And here, we were worrying about the lovey-dovey scenes between the two lasting longer than expected -- but now they are on their way to beating the Jassi-Arman 'almost meet and miss' record! So what's next, we wonder -- Angad in jail, Kripa looking for another shoulder to cry on and Prithvi and his long face trying to make a comeback in the latter's life? Tracks to ponder over??? Smriti's Bong connection! Not many know that Smriti Z Iraani the favourite bahu on Star Plus speaks fluent Bangla. Reason? Her mother's a Bengali! She does everything that a true blue Bengali would do during pujo- the anjali, enjoying the bhog, gorging on kheer kodmbo, watching jatra, buying new clothes, playing shidoor khela and most importantly, the mughlai parathas which she gets to eat only during the pujas . "Back home in Delhi I used to frequent various pandals with my family but in Mumbai, I try to adjust my work with the puja timings. Besides, I have a few Bong friends in the unit, so it's great! Also, I don't believe in mixing work with the festival so I'd rather have Maa Durga be the perfect chief guest and not be called for any sort of an appearance during Pujo," she gushes … Riding the band wagon! Wearing funky headbands seems to be the latest fad in tellyville. Both Vikram Acharya and Rohit Roy were spotted sporting colourful headbands at parties last week. Rohit's obsession with T-shirts is a known thing, but this seems to be something else! And this is not all, the guy seems to have traded the age old cigarettes for the more sophisticated (?*?) cigars! The band (on the head!), the funky T-shirts (on the bod!) and a cigar (in the mouth) -- maketh man a fashion icon? Hmmm.
