EXCLUSIVE: The response I am getting for my character, Sunny in Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali is amazing- Kushagre Dua on RECEIVING HATRED!

MUMBAI: Kushagre Dua is an integral part of Star Plus’ Mehendi Hai Rachnewali and plays an antagonist in the show. His performance is extremely interesting and in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, we spoke to Kushagre about his experience shooting for the show.

He said, “The cast is great and I am having a good time shooting with them. I find it a little challenging to shoot as I have joined the show mid-way but thanks to my co-stars, it has been a good journey so far. With regards to the bond between actors, well with Sai Ketan Rao, I have a very professional and cordial rapport. However, he is a nice actor to work with.  With regards to Shivangi Khedekar gave me a warm welcome when I entered the show.”

Shedding some light on his character, Kushagre mentioned, “There is a very thin line between negative and grey. The way Sunny has turned out to be is because of his past. If you talk about shows I have done like Divya Drishti, Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi and others, I have played a very positive character. This is a character which I wished for. I am shown to be a Delhi boy. Delhi guys are a little arrogant and the way Sunny talks to Pallavi, people hate him. I also had a chat with the creator of the show where I requested him to show me in a little positive light but they refused as the character received an amazing response! People hate me and the creator told me that if you are receiving hate that means you are doing good, you are doing a fabulous job.“

Well said Kushagre! (Also Read: EXCLUSIVE! I consider myself lucky to be a part of a historic show like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ali Hassan aka Akhilesh)
