Always wanting to turn a producer, Rockstar fame Imtiaz Ali will soon realise his dream with Highway that he will co-produce along with Sajid Nadiadwala.
The film, a love story about two very different people who get attracted to each other, stars Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in the lead.
It is said that <em>Highway</em> has been conceived by Saif Ali Khan’s <em>Cocktail</em> writer. Sajid loved the fact that Imtiaz showed the inclination to produce the film. He immediately gave his nod. Imtiaz is excited about the fact that he will be a hands-on producer for the first time.

After he completes Highway, the Jab We Met director will move on to his next with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, which is slated to go on floors sometime mid-2013.
