MUMBAI: Veena Nagda is one such name who needs no introduction.

The lady is known for her exceptional mehndi skills and made a flourishing career out of it.

Veena Nagda is one of the most famous celebrity mehndi artists of Bollywood.

Be it Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone or Sonam Kapoor, Veena is the one who has created some exceptional mehndi's for them.

Well, we all know that Mehndi is usually applied during festive seasons or weddings.

However, apart from the real-life weddings, Veena has also applied mehndi's to many leading beauties for their films as well.

Veena is the go-to person of all the Bollywood beauties and elite class people when it comes to mehndi.

We came across a video where Veena described her journey.

She revealed how she was just an S.S.C pass out but managed to carve a niche for herself.

Veena revealed that she was not allowed to step out of the house and do a job and that's when she started her journey of being a mehndi artist.

She has been in this field for 41 years now.

Veena revealed that the tradition which is followed in India never goes away. Initially, girls used to love detailed mehndi with small designs. Then came the trend of Arabic and big designs.

Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Varun Dhawan's wife Natasha Dalal, the Ambani family, and many more brides of Bollywood had called Veena for their wedding mehndi.

Veena is associated with Bollywood's ace filmmaker Karan Johar for almost 20 years.

A lot of movies of Karan Johar have witnessed some great wedding sequences where Veena was called for decking the actress with her beautiful mehndi designs.

The talented artist has one piece of advice to all the mehndi artists- do not use any harmful chemicals and use mehndi in pure form.

Veena's career is reaching sky high with each passing day, thanks to her incredible talent and hard work.
