Sony’s longest-running show CID now turns bi-weekly. The show will also introduce some new characters in the mystery-cracking team this month.
Shivaji Satam confirms this news, “Yes the show will turn bi-weekly. New lead characters will enter the show. Hrishikesh Pandey will essay the role of a CID cop along with Jasveer Kaur. Manini Mishra plays the role of a forensic expert.”
Tanmay Singh, writer of CID adds, “Talks are going on, the change is likely to happen this month.”
Jasveer Kaur, the newest entry on the show says, “My character is that of a cop which enters the show next Friday. It is one of my dream roles to play a cop and CID has let me fulfill it. I always wanted to be a part of CID from K Street times but things didn’t work out then. I am happy now I am finally getting a chance to be a part of the team.”
All efforts to reach Christabelle D’souza, creative head were in vain.
