MUMBAI: Colors’ Barrister Babu has gained popularity with its attempt at highlighting societal norms, taboos, and superstitions. The makers also try to effectively solve these issues and educate viewers on the difference between right and wrong.
Thaku Maa aka Sadiya Siddiqui's entry in the show has been one of the most liked and spoken-about entries. Her character educated the audiences to differentiate between right and wrong and made them fall for her performance.
We spoke to Thaku Maa aka Sadiya Siddiqui and asked her about her bond with Aurra Bhatnagar (little Bondita). The actress said, "When I had first gone on the sets of Barrister Babu, there were three little girls there: Bondita, Tapur, and Tupur. While meeting them, I asked who Bondita is from the three of them, and she jumped and said she is Bondita. Aurra is a wonderful child. She is blessed with skills. She had won everyone's hearts with her innocence and performance."
While talking about Aurra, Sadiya shared an aww-dorable anecdote, "I remember getting hurt on the sets while doing a scene, and Aurra rushed to her vanity room and brought me a bandage. While everyone was searching for the little girl for her shot, she ran to her van and got me this bandage and said, "My papa had given this to me. Whenever I get hurt, I use it, so now you got hurt and you must use it." It filled my heart with all the love when she said that. I thought that while nobody was bothered about my bruise, this little girl got me her bandage. Aurra has my heart forever."
It is impossible for fans to forget Aurra as Bondita.
