False figures!:

A prominent newspaper in Mumbai reported that Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.. had auctioned a guitar, signed by all five judges, for over Rs.8 lakhs. The proceeds from this will go to charity. While the news of the auction is true, the figure stated is untrue. Creative Head Payaol Patel says, "The bidding isn't over yet. The auction will continue for another week before we'll announce the winner. We haven't disclosed any amount yet. The figure that's appeared on paper is completely fake." So, all you Sa Re... admirers, the window is not shut yet. So, go get your guitar.

Fit for music! : Music director Jatin often screams on the top of his voice when quarreling with his fellow judges on Star Voice of India. Displaying such emotional outburst requires the necessary energy. Our khabru reveals that Jatin derives this energy by sweating it out at the gym. Jatin has a great penchant for gymming regularly no matter how busy his schedule might be. Says he, "Apart from making musical melodies I love taking care of my health and am particular about my physique. My favorite exercises include doing forearms and triceps apart from regular cardio exercises." Jatin says that gymming has become his passion since it allows him to de-stress from the long working ours that otherwise takes toll on health. He adds, "Since my work requires me to put in long hours that too without any breaks, I make sure that my body stays in shape to counter the hectic lifestyle. So, exercising regularly really helps me deliver the best every time." We just hope that he combines a few breathing exercises to keep his temper in check. Chaitanya Choudhary : Chaitanya Choudhary, who plays Sagar in Star Plus's Sangam, narrates a rather embarrassing incident. He was shooting a scene when suddenly his towel came off. "There was one scene where I have to chase Ganga (Jeniffer). While running behind her my towel came off. But thank god, I was wearing my shorts," explains Chaitanya. "It was the funniest incident. We rewinded that whole scene and shared a great laugh. Unfortunately that full episode was chopped off but I still can't stop giggling when I think of it," adds Choudhary. Moral of the story never chase girls when you're in your towel. Not backing down : Television actors, especially those working in daily soaps, are prone to falling ill but that never deters them from stopping their work. Another name has been added to the list of brave hearts. Rati Pandey, aka Prarthana of Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai fame, continues shooting despite suffering from a severe back pain. "I've been suffering from spondylitis for a long time. It has flared up again. After shooting for 8 hours, my back really hurts. During this time, I take short breaks but continue shooting, says Rati. If the pain is that severe then why doesn't she take any treatment? Rati replies, "My doctor has advised me physiotherapy but where do I have the time for it. I'm playing the lead and have to show up everyday. My producers are kind enough to delay the shoot whenever I feel the pain." Her producers are right in delaying the shoot but let's hope that Rati doesn't further delay her treatment or else she might not be able to endure the consequences. Tattoo gayab: Karan Grover, aka Dr. Armaan Mallik of Dill Mill Gayye fame, has an entire left arm covered with a tribal design tattoo and the right arm with a dragon tattoo. But for the role of a medical intern, he covers up his arms with loads of makeup. However, problems arose when Karan was supposed to play basketball in a sleeveless vest in one of the episodes. So, will this medical intern reveal his tattoos? Unfortunately, they'll still remain covered. "Though I was wearing a sleeveless vest, no one was able to see my tattoos as they've covered by makeup. It took about 15 minutes to cover each arm" says Karan. We reckon that it's a folly not to reveal his tattoos as they sure would have been more appealing than watching him act. Chinu-Shalu : A real pair? Manish Naggdev, aka Chinu of Banoo Main Teri Dulhan, is rumoured to have an off screen affair with his co-star Snehal Sahai who plays his wife Shalu in the show. We wonder how much truth is there to it. Manish says this in his defence, "We are not seeing each other, I am quite aware of these rumours, but I think when the on screen chemistry works, these stories are bound to arise. We've been appreciated for our work, but apart from that there is nothing more." Well Manish, we shall just take your word for now!
