The actress came to Mumbai and became a social media star through MX Taka Tak. The actress later joined theatre to polish her acting and from there she got the opportunity for her debut web series Kasoor. The actress looks at Deepika Padukone as her acting Idol and she wishes to share screen space with her one day.

Shalvi Chauhan reveals that she is comfortable doing bold scenes but only if it has the great relevance on the script and it also depends on the equation she is sharing with the actor and the director.
