MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has become the longest-running show on TV right now. Sirat and Kartik's Jodi is the most adored onscreen duo at present.

Currently, Sheila begins to instigate Aarohi against Akshara, she reveals that the Goenkas will always favour Akshu and her family because Naira belonged to a reputed family. They will never accept Aaru's maternal family because she is not as rich as them. Aarohi begins to dislike Akshara and her family. On the other hand, Manish talks to Akshu about her grandparents and Naira's family, he reveals all the good things about them.
Manish updates the family about Kartik's return, the next day while the family is waiting for Kartik, the news flashes on Akhilesh's phone about the plane missing and they turn the news on. The reporter reveals that the flight in which Kartik was returning to Udaipur is missing and the reports suggest that the plane has crashed and the passengers have succumbed to the tragedy. Sirat and Swarna break down in tears. Goenkas are unable to process this massive loss.
Previously, Sirat rushes to the temple to pray for Kartik's safety but the end is inevitable. Aarohi and Akshara also rush to the temple behind Sirat, while Akshu calls them climbing the stairs of the temple. Frightened by the storm, Sirat tries to run downstairs to protect her daughter, and right then Sirat falls from the stairs and succumbs to the tragic demise. Aarohi and Akshara witness the fall and freeze in shock.
Aarohi's hatred towards Akshu increases as she holds her responsible for the tragedy with Sirat. She mentions that it was only for Akshu that Sirat ran for her to save her from the storm and because of which she slipped and lost her life. Will she ever forgive Akshara?
In the upcoming episode, Akshara and Aarohi rush to Sirat, while she takes her last breath in Akshara's lap. She asks for her promise to always stay by Aarohi's side no matter what. Aarohi gets furious with Akshu and holds her responsible for Sirat's death. On the other hand, Manish receives the bad news and falls on his knees. How will the family members take this shock?
