EXCLUSIVE! 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been a blessing in disguise' Vansh aka Sharan Anandani on bagging the show, his character and more

A day prior to the first day shooting with Reem, I didn't even know that such a track would come. So when I met her for the first time, I was blushing and we were all happy, having fun. It was really cute and nice, the reaction on screen was exactly how it was offscreen too.

MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has become the longest-running show on TV right now. Abhimanyu and Akshara are winning hearts with their love.

The show has been an inspiration for family values and many love stories. From the first installation with Akshara and Naitik, the story had been ahead of its time, then came Naira and Kartik the most super hit Jodi of the show, they even have Kaira Day on their couple name. Now, with AbhiRa aka Abhimanyu and Akshara, the show is reaching new heights.

There is one more story blooming with Abhira, that is Reem and Vansh. We got in touch with the cutest of all, Vansh aka Sharan Anandani; the charmer had some interesting things to share about the show and more, check it out:

What made you choose the character of Vansh? What do you enjoy about it?

When I first read the script of Vansh, I could relate it to my life. There are a lot of similarities in how Vansh faces difficulties and keeps everyone happy hiding his own sadness. I could relate with the character and it is really fun playing the character onscreen. As soon as time progressed, these past three months have been a blessing to me. I really enjoy playing Vansh, I have realised that Vansh is one of the rare characters who are joyful in the show, whenever there is drama and emotional scenes he brings a smile to the family members faces and even the viewers.

Being the third generation of the Yeh Rishta clan, how do you feel being a part of the Goenka Family in the show?

I feel honoured to be a part of the Goenka family, before I joined the show I was watching Mohsin Khan's track in the show for a few months. I really enjoyed watching it and I was really elated to be a part of the show. It seemed like a blessing in disguise for me, being a part of the Goenka family. Earlier shows used to stretch the tracks but now, it is fast-paced. I am really happy and grateful that I am part of such a beautiful family as Vansh Goenka. The way it touches the families, even as an audience I have felt emotional watching certain scenes. I wish there were such families, there are such people but not everyone would have gone through the same. It is beautiful that the storyline focuses on relations and families.

How interesting is Vansh and Reem's love story for you?

It is really interesting, for the first time I am having a love track. I am really happy and also trying to figure out how do I approach this situation. It is really important to have that kind of bond onscreen. So off-screen we try to build at least a connection as a friend, for an actor, it is important to know their co-star well to build that chemistry. So I get to know the person off-camera, at least I am comfortable while performing with the person. With Reem, I don't know things are proceeding onscreen. A day prior to the first-day shooting with Reem, I didn't even know that such a track would come. So when I met her for the first time, I was blushing and we were all happy, having fun. It was really cute and nice, the reaction on screen was exactly how it was offscreen too.
