MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has become the longest-running show on TV right now. Abhimanyu and Akshara are winning hearts with their love.

Currently, Akshara tries to explain to the family that she has been in love with Abhimanyu from the very beginning but because of the whole confusion that happened earlier, she decided to take a step back. She further said that she tried her best to control her emotions but couldn't. Aarohi then asks her is that why she decided to run away. Manish gets angry hearing this and asks them to keep quiet. He tells them that he needs time to think over things and asks them to not talk to him about this matter. The girls then try to stop Kairav, but he tells Akshara that because of her one mistake everyone ended up in a mess, and as for Aarohi, he asks her to stop playing the victim or blame Akshara for whatever happened to her.
Previously, At the Birla house, Abhimanyu gives his resignation to Harshvardhan and tells him that he will start from scratch in his grandfather's old clinic. He decides to leave home but Mahima stops him and tells him that he should think about his mother before leaving the house. She tells him that things will sort out but he needs to give them time.
In the upcoming episode, Abhimanyu is making til ke laddoo for Makar Sankranti and Manjari comes to help him. She tells him that he needs to give time to Akshara and her family because if he will try to rush things, they will get messier. Abhimanyu then thanks Neil for all his help and Neil is happy that finally Akshara and Abhimanyu can be together. Abhimanyu then waits for Akshara to call him.
At the same time, Akshara decides that she will do everything that she can to fix things with her family. She had promised to call Abhimanyu and was about to dial his number, but Manish came there, and she accidentally dropped her phone.
