Rajesh Joshi to pen Ekta Kapoor's Jodhaa Akbar for Zee TV

Rajesh Joshi, fondly known as Raju Bhai in the television industry has been associated with many successful shows of Balaji Telefilms starting from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kkusum, Bandini, Tere Liye, Pavitra Rishta and Parichay. And now, the ace writer is going to be a part of Ekta Kapoor’s magnum-opus historical for Zee TV, Jodhaa Akbar. We hear that the writer after being part of various successful social genres finds it as a new challenge to pen for the historical show. Rajesh Joshi is presently the writer of Pavitra Rishta which is to soon achieve the feat of completing 1000 episodes. When contacted, Rajesh confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I am writing for Ekta’s Jodhaa Akbar. It is a great challenge to be part of a historical show of the stature of Jodhaa. We are putting in our best efforts at the moment for the project.” We hear that the shoot for Jodhaa Akbar is already underway in Jaipur.
