MUMBAI: Ajay Devgn along with the other crew members of his upcoming web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness was present at the trailer launch in the city. During the media interaction, Ajay Devgn was asked about the south movies overtaking the Bollywood movies at the box office.
Ajay Devgn said it is not true that South films are overtaking Bollywood movies. Recently his film Sooryavanshi was released in the theatre which was a massive success. South films are gaining popularity but it is not that they are impacting Indian cinema. Films that have good content will definitely work at the box office no matter from where it is. Recently there has been no big Hindi film released at the theatres. So, when it will come that time we can see which films are hit at the box office.
After receiving a massive response to the first trailer of the web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, the makers of the show launched its second trailer today. Ajay Devgn, Atul Kulkarni, Esha Deol, and other crew members were present at the launch.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in the film Sooryavanshi along with Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Ranveer Singh. He will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Gangubai Kathiawadi where he will be sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt. He will also be seen in cameo role in SS Rajamouli's film RRR along with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. Apart from these films, he will also be seen in Runway 34 and Maidaan.
