When Kairee fame Preeti Chaudhary was mistaken for Preity Zinta

Preeti Chaudhary
Preeti Chaudhary who was last seen in Colors’ Kairee is enjoying her off-time presently. Yesterday (21 March 2013), the day on which the judgement on Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt to go through five more years in jail was passed, the petite actress Preeti Chaudhary got a call from a media person to know her thought process on the judgment. Even though Preeti tried to ward off the call by saying that she is nobody to comment on Sanjay Dutt, the journalist requested her to give their news channel an interview later in the day, and also talked about how big a fan she personally is of the actor. After all the convincing, Preeti obliged to give her byte later in the day. And when the call for the interview came, Preeti was taken aback when the reporter who was scheduled to take the interview addressed her as Preity Zinta instead of Preeti Chaudhary. Talking about this funny incident, Preeti Chaudhary told us, “When I got the call from the news channel initially, I was wondering why they needed my byte for the Sanjay Dutt judgement. Only after they called me for the interview did I realize that they mistook me to be Preity Zinta (laughs). The girl goofed up big time, and later apologized. It was really funny and even when she was mentioning that she is a big fan of mine, I felt that she was mentioning about me (smiles).” Preeti went on to say, “Now that such an incident happened with me, I would really want to meet Preity Zinta once. After all, we share the same first name (smiles).” Aww, just like Preeti, this is an incident that the journo too cannot forget for life!!!
