MUMBAI: Karan Goddwani, who has changed his name to Abeer Singh Godhwani, is known for his roles in shows like Jugni Chali Jalandhar, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, and Jeannie Aur Juju amongst others.
There are reports about Abeer most likely entering Colors’ Naagin 6. Hence, TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor to know the development. He shared, “Well, I am in talks for the show, but things are yet to finalized. Until it doesn’t get locked it doesn’t make sense of talking.”
We asked Abeer if he has followed earlier season of Naagin. He replied, “I have watched a few episodes before going for the screen test.”

What's keeping you busy these days? “I have a family business of dry fruits and spices, so I was working on it. And during the pandemic, for improving my family's immunity it has helped us a lot. And I'm looking for a good role now, since I'm returning after 2-3 years.”
What made you stay away from television? “I was doing a show on Sony TV, and after a month lockdown has been declared. We did not know that the show would get over so soon. I was lucky for my business in the food industry. Many people approached me for mythological shows, but I was waiting for some good role. Also, I had signed a show on Amazon, but the show got cancelled.”
What are your expectations from Naagin? “If things materialize, I would be grateful since it's a big franchise.”
