SAD! Agar Tum Na Hote’s Himanshu Soni’s back injury takes a bad turn; the actor travels abroad for treatment

MUMBAI: Himanshu Soni is going through a tough time.

A few days ago, there were reports about the actor’s back injury on the sets of his show Agar Tum Na Hote. It was a spinal cord injury and he had been advised two months of bed rest, but he could not take a break as he is the male lead on his show and was required to shoot daily. So, he was trying to balance his physiotherapy sessions along with his 12-hour-long shoot schedules.

However, the actor’s back injury took a bad turn a few days ago and he was forced to focus fully on his treatment.

Now, according to a report in a leading daily, Himanshu has gone to Dubai to get treated for his injury as his wife is based in Dubai currently. When TOI reached out to him, he said, “I was advised complete bed rest for two months but that was not possible because I was juggling my treatment and my work. But now, I want to focus on my treatment and recover completely, so that there are no further complications and my shoots don’t suffer.”

Previously, in an interview with the same daily, the actor spoke about hectic TV schedules. "Coming from a daily soap background, I know the pressure of telecasts and episode banks. There are deadlines that have to be met. So while my health is important, I have committed to this show and it is my responsibility as an actor to fulfill my commitment by continuing with the shoot,” he said.

We wish him speedy recovery!
