The cast and crew of Firework Productions’ Hum Ne Li Hai … Shapath, on Life OK, is in a celebratory mood as the show is all set to complete 200 successful episodes tonight (20 April 2013). The team hasn’t cut a cake yet, but they are definitely very happy as Piyush Sachdev, better known as senior Inspector Abhigyan said, “I am the only one who has stayed in the show since it was launched and is aware the amount of hard work we have put into it. Plus there were also stories about the project going off-air in the beginning. Therefore, when I see us getting better numbers, I feel good. Completing 200 episodes is awesome.” We also contacted Aamir Dalvi, better known as senior inspector Kavi to which he averred, “It’s been a great innings so far, but we have bigger numbers to achieve. After all we are performing better than IPL (laughs).” Surprisingly the TRPs of the show hasn’t dropped in spite of the ongoing cricketing season. Tonight’s episode will also mark the beginning of super villain series on the show. As reported in the media earlier, Shapath is all set to air 18 super villain episodes. These episodes will see villains like the Electroman (man with electrical power), Vishkanya (venomous woman), Fleximan (man who is flexible as a rubber) etc. These will be the villains with supernatural powers. Interestingly, the VFX team of Mahadev is working on the effects of Shapath too.
