Mahesh Bhatt has added one more feather to his cap.
Besides co-producing <em>Aashiqui 2</em> with T-Series, Mahesh Bhatt has lent his voice to the film.
Essaying the role of Aditya Roy Kapoor’s father, Bhatt will not make an appearance in the movie but will be seen communicating with Aditya only via phone conversations.
Speaking to us over the phone Bhatt confirmed the news saying, “I play Aditya’s father. But you will not find me visibly present in the film; I have lent my voice for two scenes. When Aditya’s character converses with his father my voice can be heard.”

Directed by Mohit Suri, Aashiqui 2, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor is releasing on 26 April (2013).
But it’s not that Bhatt has never tried his hand at acting. Interestingly, the director played a character in a documentary Future Toh Bright Hai Ji made by Sanjay Amar.
