Exclusive! I want to play a negative lead: Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet’s Shagun Pandey aka Meet Ahlawat

MUMBAI: Shagun Pandey is one of the most loved actors of television. He began his career with the serial Santoshi Maa as Guddu Parihar.

He is known for portraying Atharv Bapat in Tujhse Hai Raabta and Uday Kishore Sahani in Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye.

The actor was also a part of the MTV Splitsvilla Season 11.

Currently, he is ruling television with his performance in Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, where he is essaying the character of Meet Ahlawat.

In an exclusive interaction with us, Shagun Pandey revealed his wish list.

Tell us about your wish list.

After Meet, I want to do a masala entertainer. It could be a short film or web series. I would like to play a negative lead. I want to do a show that is male-oriented. I want to prove that this can work on television. Apart from this, I would like to go on my dream trip.

Whom would you like to recreate on screen?

Well, frankly, I want to do something wherein I can create my own genre. But I would say why not play a Jayeshbhai Jordaar on television?

Whom would you like to work with?

Honestly, I am in love with many directors on television, but to list in Bollywood, I would say Rohit Shetty, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ayan Mukherjee, and Manish Sharma.

Good Luck, Shagun!
