MUMBAI: CID was one of the most successful shows on television. In fact, it was the longest running show.
But all off a sudden, it shut shop, and fans were disappointed. The trio of Daya, Abhijeet, and ACP Pradyuman was loved by the audiences, and they became iconic on television.
Post the show going off air, the star cast still kept in touch and have become like a family.
The actors share a great bond of friendship. We have seen that in the posts that they share on social media.
Earlier, we had reported that Shraddha Musale (Dr. Tarika), Janvi Chheda (Shreya), Ansha Sayed (Purvi), Dayanand Shetty (Daya), and Hrishikesh Pandey (Sachin) reunited recently and had a fun time. The gang met after a long time.
Fans were super excited to see them together and commented on the photo saying that this is the best CID team and that they miss watching them and the series.
The pictures of their reunion went viral on social media and the fans began the hashtag #bringbackCID, which gained a lot of momentum and showed the love the audience still had for it.
Now, in an interview, Ansha Sayed (Purvi) has confirmed that the show will be returning on a new platform and with the same star cast.
She also said that the talks are on, and soon, the show might go on air.
Well, this news excited fans as their most loved show will be returning with the same star cast.
