New entry in Waqt

Sameer Sharma, who is playing the lead role in Veeranwali is now going to be seen in Waqt . A source from the production house informs, "Sameer Sharma is entering Waqt as Saurabh's (Sachin Shroff) friend, Dev. He was staying in London but he has now returned to India after a long time. Along with his entry, there will be a new thriller track in the show." Sameer says, "There are two important factors for me to do this show. Comfort level being the first factor, opportunity to play a different role is the second factor. I am working with Creative Eye (production house) since last one year for Veeranwali . I feel comfortable working with them. The character that I am offered in Waqt is different from what I have played earlier. It is a nice and subtle character. There will be a twist in my character as the track progresses further." But the show is slated to go off air in a few months? Hastily he replies, "I don't work for TRPs. Whether the show goes off air or not has nothing to do with my decision of taking up this show. I have stated the reasons for which I have taken up this show." We hope this new entry and new track bring some good times for Waqt!
