CID team to shoot in Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun

In spite of being one of the oldest crime based fiction shows on TV, Sony Entertainment Television’s CID (Fireworks Productions) keeps reinventing itself in terms of concept and execution. So what’s new this time down the line for the viewers? Well, the audience will get to see some stories shot in outdoor locations as the team is currently busy shooting in distant locations away from the usual sets in Mumbai. “We will be shooting in Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun. The team started shooting for the outdoor sequence on 15 May 2013 and it will go on for a while as it’s a six episode story,” said a source. We also hear that the makers had been planning this outdoor schedule for a while now and it has finally materialized. We tried contacting producer BP Singh but he remained unavailable for comment.
