MUMBAI: Mukul Sharma as Jay in Swaran Ghar has become a household name. The popular show is being produced by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Dreamiyata Entertainment. The actor talks about the show, especially the fact that in this short span of time it has got a loyal fan base.

“It’s been a good experience working here. I am learning a lot here as my character is totally different from the sort of personality I am in real life. So it was very important for me to do such a character and learn new things as an actor,” he continues, “The team is very amazing and the atmosphere is always very professional which is one of the best things.”

Makers ensure that the quality of content is maintained. “This show has always provided quality content. From actors to scenes, everything is perfect. And that’s the reason of course why the audience is enjoying it so much,” he says.

The drama and emotional quotients of the show is really high. “For shows like this obvious drama is important. Audiences love to watch such shows just because of the emotional content provided. Every emotion is important, be it sad or happy because that is what we go through in real life too. So people actually relate to it,” he adds.
The unit is like one happy family. A happy atmosphere on the set makes one perform better. “I remember I bought a new phone and was very much concerned about it. Don’t know how I left it somewhere on the set and started searching for it. I was very afraid and panicking at the same moment and was asking everyone about it. I had no idea but Ajay sir was hiding it from me for a very long time. He observed that I was panicking. He enjoyed it for some time before giving me my phone back. I laughed at the time but instantly it brought back memories of my childhood when I used to do such things with my brother. So, I feel it’s important to have a happy atmosphere in your workplace or it becomes difficult to perform better,” he ends.
