MUMBAI :Imlie is one of the top shows and the audience loves the track. We saw a huge turn in the plot post the leap. The current storyline has a lot of twists and turns coming up.
Rajshri Rani plays the role of Arpita, Imlie’s aunt.
Rajshri Rani Shukla Jain is best known for her titular portrayal of Suhani in Star Plus show Suhani Si Ek Ladki. Rani made her acting debut in 2012 by starring in Drashti Dhami's show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.
In April 2018, she joined Star Plus's Ikyawann as Sarthi Mishra. After a brief role in Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka, she was also seen as Rupa Raunak Rajput in Namak Issk Ka on Colors TV.
Tellychakkar recently got in touch with the actress and got to know some interesting insights.
What do you think about the current track of the show and what can the audience expect from the upcoming track?
“Imlie’s journey has just started with her getting married. She has been brought up with a lot of love and I feel slowly she is gaining a lot of strength to be on her own. Once she understands Chini’s truth, her character will come out more. Her character is getting established as of now. The way she will react after getting to know about Chini’s truth and what she will do, there are a lot of layers that will unfold."

You have been a part of Imlie since the beginning. What do you miss about it from before the leap?
“I miss all the actors from before, especially Aryan. I had developed a really good bond with Aryan, in reel and real-life both. We used to have a lot of fun on the sets. We used to sit in my and Sundar’s room, talk, and have fun. We never knew how the day used to pass. No matter how hectic our schedule was or even if we used to have night shoots we spent time together after shoot. Gaurav and I miss the people the most. The new cast is also amazing but we had spent so much time with the older cast that we developed a different and deeper connection. When they left, we used to think about how we will be able to work but that is life, we have to work.”
With the new cast now, who do you gel with the most?
“I have been bonding well with Megha. Gaurav and I are developing a good bond and the same is with Karan as well. We have not spent that much time with him because he has his scenes with his family members. Talking about the Rana family members, we haven’t met that many times and only met on the set during our scenes. Seerat is also very sweet. She is a little younger but it is fun with her. We even have lunch together. We connect a little more with Megha plus the age gap is not that much. She loves to make reels a lot and she bonds with Gaurav a lot over that. In general, all of us share a good bond.”
